The cottage also comes with French doors, a spectacular lake view, a wood burning stove, an antique claw foot tub and a king size iron bed. Have we mentioned the two soft cotton robes and the extra soft (threaded with silk) large bath towels? What about the scrumptious homemade breakfasts?

For parents visiting their children at the Pomfret School, the Rectory School and the Hyde School, we are just minutes away. We are also a short drive from the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs. There is plenty of room for a private visit; a home cooked meal or entertaining family and friends.

• The cottage rate is $215 per night plus CT occupancy tax. This includes private accommodations, made to order country breakfast, complimentary beverages and snacks, personal concierge service and access to 75 acres of wooded hills and rolling pastures.
• We request one night's payment in order to hold your room. Payment for the balance of your reservation is taken at check-in. You are responsible for all reserved dates, regardless of shortened stay.
• If you must reluctantly cancel, please do so at least 14 days before your arrival date. Your deposit will be returned if we have 14 days notice or if the room is re-booked.
• We accept payment by Visa and MasterCard. We also accept cash and check.
• Check in is after 2 p.m.; check out is before noon. However, we can often accommodate other arrangements made in advance.
• Inn at Fox Hill Farm is smoke free. We ask that you do not smoke in the cottage. Please be considerate and respect this request.
